Department of Kokborok
The Department of Kokborok started from the year 2013. Student can opt for Kokborok as an elective subject. Initially it started with a seat capacity of 20, later with the demand of the students it increases to 50. Kokborok Lanuguage is a branch of Tibeto-Burman Language. It has been recognized as one of the official language of Tripura since 1979. Faculties of this department always encourage students to contribute for the purpose of flourishing the language apart from the syllabus study.
